I am an adventure junkee who lived in a tent, roamed the world by ship and plane, traversed the United States on my Harley-Davidson, wore leather while performing in a rock band, and embraced the wanderlust in our Airstream travel trailer. I am also a doctor (not that kind) with a writing style covering several genres of children’s fiction, professional literature, self-help, as well as writing and directing multiple plays. My current favorite pastime includes writing and illustrating for children, while immersed in nature.
As a parent, grandparent, and licensed marriage and family therapist, I have a passion for family success. My books are crafted to help families have fun together while strengthening their relationships and giving children a sense of accomplishment.

One Day I Tried to Rhyme a Word with Tintinnabulation

Beatrice is at it again! She is still trying to find a way to rhyme with great big words. Tintinnabulation literally means "the ringing of bells," so there will be many different bells pictured in this one!
Tintinnabulation is another six-syllable word and it is the second in my picture book series: "I Can Say Big Words." Stay tuned as we follow Beatrice in the next chapter of her literary journey!

Kids are bombarded with reasons to feel anxious, which may prevent them from moving forward in school. This book provides resources for a small group or classroom setting, with fun-filled skills to help them master their fears and anxiety. You don't have to be a school counselor to benefit from these rich activities. Teachers, parents of home schoolers, and others may also find these activities useful.
